My favorite:
1976: The Gong Show premiers
Hey, are you calling Katie the Gong Show?
:) No. (but funny) Do you remember watching the Gong show? I do. When I was in Edmonton, the phrase "its a gong show" became popular for situations that were crazy/out of control/unorganized. Unfortunately, when asked, most who used this phrase were completely unaware of the actual show.
Happy Birthday! My favorite is 1989: Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor was arrested for slapping a Beverly Hills motorcycle patrolman.
We'll celebrate better in Hawaii, maybe we'll even slap a few "patrolmen"
Hey Katie,
Hope you had a great day! Mom B
